A Year of Peace (2)

In our world today, finding peace takes effort. We can be so busy and absorbed in just living day to day we sometimes forget our own needs of Self-care. When this happens, stress, tension and anxiety can build up in our bodies and minds, leading to irritability, anger, frustration. But what if we slowed down the pace of life, took time for ourSelf to move and breath with simple awareness and peacefulness? How would it feel to bring greater peace with-in so that we can experience greater peace with-out?

With like-minded people, in a small, intimate setting, we will be exploring peace through mindful yoga movements, guided meditation, sound healing, journaling, and more in the beautiful, natural surroundings of the Healing Chapel in the Woods at the Conservancy in Franklin. The serene chapel and it's wooded location is the perfect surrounding to relax, renew and be at peace. In the warmer months we will step outside to enjoy the grounds and gardens with walking meditation, movement and guided relaxation while renewing the joy and healing that Mother Nature brings us.

When: The first Wednesday of every month in 2021

Jan. 6, Feb. 3, Mar. 3, Apr. 7, May 5, June 2, July 7, Aug. 4, Sept. 1, Oct. 6,  Nov 3, and Dec. 1

Time: 6 p.m.-7:45 p.m.

Where: Reiman Healing Chapel in the Woods at the Conservancy for Healing and Heritage. Directions: Pull into the parking lot of the Ascension Medical Building at S. 74th and W. Rawson Avenue (7410 W Rawson, Franklin). Drive to the far end of the lot. Chapel is on the right. 

Cost: $25 per month.

Please note that a portion of all fees with be donated to the Conservancy for Healing and Heritage so that they can continue to develop their beautiful grounds for all to enjoy.
